Title: Ripped off?
Post by: pongles on May 22, 2012, 06:48 pm
Hi, newb here but not new to the chat room. Anyway - I placed an order for some lorazepam with TheEmporium, after a couple days (domestic so delivery should be 1-2 days) I pm him and ask what's happening with my stuff - says mail is slow, not just me who is experiencing it etc.

Well, I place an order with another vendor, domestic, and that comes through next day. Now TheEmporium (I should have checked this first thing really) has every other feedback as "not received" and I'm unable to converse with him anymore.

Any advice?

OH ALSO - 1btc seems ridiculously high for postage, when postage here is like £0.60 for a large first class stamp. Calculator tells me that's 5.5x what I should be paying.

It will come... maybe he meant the mail is slow around his area. If it doesn't come assume it's lost... It's likely just a case of the Royal Mail being slow. I've had orders that have come on different days, despite being dispatched on the same day.

TheEmporium is a genuine vendor - I've made a few purchases from him.

Hi, thanks for input - but what about every other of his feedback being not received? This worries me a little.

I've just had a look and there's only two I can see. A full refund was given on one of them. Try and message him again asking whether he can refund you... I'd say give it a week and if nothing arrives assume it's lost.

Well, maybe I'm being presumptuous but I'm thinking he's maybe never sent it at all.

did you go outside of escrow? you leave that out and if you are in escrow you cant be ripped off so it helps to say if you are in escrow or not. cant say if you got ripped off with out that info.

Yeah, why are you saying "every other one of his feedback" when there are just a couple that say what you said.

Try not to slander people needlessly, dude.

I can vouch for him... plus his reputation is quite good - he wouldn't risk losing it just to scam a few people. A lot of things can easily go wrong, lost in mail, sent to wrong address... it could even be simply because he's marked it 'in transit' before sending it.

Wait a week, then shoot him another message  :)

Theres definatly delays with UK mail at the moment, a mixture of areas of england still recovering from floods and remember there are less staff in sorting offices over bank holiday periods sp they are still playing catch up from that too.
I think its sometimes easy to fall into the trap of judging vendor delivery times against each other - as ive seen written, these guys arent robots.
There are hundreds of differengt factors that can effect delivery times.
I think its important too if an established vendor gives you a reason for a delay then to trust them on it, theyve probably been bugged silly with the same question over and over.
The main thing is to keep the faith and it will show.
Escrow - full stop.

Ok, I am new to this and I apologise if I have been hasty. I am still in escrow and have probably been a bit presumptuous, but I couldn't fathom why something arrived next day and something else has taken like a week to still arrive.

As for every other feedback being not received .. well, not sure if I saw all feedback, I just saw feedback under his user profile.

Regards

No need to apologise mate. This is exactly why these forums are here. I was a little anxious as well when I started here... I'm glad we could re-assure you :)

This all seems very familiar with me at the minute. Payed for signed package, he said he lost the tracker number, doesn't answer emails or pms, promised to send yesterday but apparently he got really sick.

Why do people bother putting up ' Express signed for ' postal options if they don't bother their ass and just try to sucker people for a tenner ?

Put me right off UK vendors for life.

I'm having a similar problem - I ordered over a week ago. Still nothing arrived. He said he would reship in full if nothing turned up by yesterday - however now he seems to be blanking my PM's.

Bit worried I've been scammed, or maybe just being paranoid.

I'll update the eventual outcome.

But for the prices of his postage you would definitely expect a better service than this.

Exact same problem as this - seems to be ignoring PM's now for me after saying he would reship, should nothing show before the weekend.

He's bang out of order, not even replying to PM's - I'll give it a few days into next week, then I'll spread the word he's a complete ripoff merchant.

However, if he resolves the problem and I get a refund or a reship that arrives. I'll happily give him good ratings.

I'm not sure what SR admins etc can do about the situation, as I'm relatively new. Made about 18 orders and so far this is the only problematic one I've had.

i find your lack of faith disturbing but founded, people get the fear where money is involved

Truth is, I've had such a personal upheaval that while i can still organise the supply and finances, the actual packing is eating my time way too much.   We carry a varied array of products and keeping that flowing is a job in itself, on top of personal problems which i'll not discuss here as it's none of your business.

Think of it as the perfect storm,  two xonsecutive postal holidays at the two larhest destinations, combined with mysteriously slow post, and 3000 in escrow waiting for people to finalise.  Noy anyone elses fault admiteddly, if you can't tkae the heat get out of the kitchen

or get a friend to open the window, which exactly what we did.  We supply a quailty product, and if it's not good it's refunded in most cases. plenty of irons in the fire for the summer so don't lose faith.

Apologies if i didn't get round to answering your PM personally Japan1980 and you got the bulk one instead, but there were way too many to get through .  We have good customers and bad customers like every other vendor on here, we don't ever ask for FE, and the rarity of quality complaint have been from other vendors anyway, i believe so anyway

So, if we've lost any customers as a result of this difficult time then we're deeply sorry, and hope we can tempt you back one day, but given the choice between SR and family, sorry guys, the resolution centre is open 24 hours a day.  Everything has gone out, sometimes three times, and the logistics is way tighter now so give us another shot, you won't be disappointed

You haven't lost me as a customer mate. Your service was outstanding, as well as your packaging. I tried to re-assure the people on this thread how genuine you are. Your LSD had me tripping balls... I'll be ordering from you again soon. I tried my best to tell them your legit - but as you know new members are a little nervous about these things. I will back you up all the way mate.

We love all of our regulars ad we hope the service we provide is of a good standard. We've had some off weeks for sure,  but i;'e involved a coue more into the fold that can easily handl the logistivs with the logisitvs and supply more varieties of items.  Idon't think we';ll be listing the coke but we can alwasy get some, always have an eighth to hand, s gtams are available at differnet grades.  i just think the competition here is a little heavy handed and makes other vendors very unpleasant towards me

We got juicy news on the LSD front as well, watch this  space

@TheEmporium:

I'm hoping you will respond to my questions/emails here as I'm obviously having NO luck over at SR whatsofuckingever.

Why are you not responding to any of my PM's and what is your excuse?
Please, respond!!

I'm having the same problem..

I placed a purchase on some xanax almost 9 days ago, but it hasn't come out of "processing" yet..
It seems like he hasn't even seen the order yet, and given that the shipping should've taken 4-5 days, and 9 days are gone, without my stuff even being shipped, I'm definitely calling it a rip-off..
Luckily since my order hasn't been marked as shipped, I can still use the "cancel" button.
I will wait another couple of hours, and if my order status nor my PMs are replied to/updated, I will use that button and blacklist TheEmporium as a seller...

I've used SR 5 times so far, and no other seller has ever been as uncaring to his customers as TheEmporium.  They all replied to their MPs within 24 hours, shipped (or sent messages about eventual delays) within 48, or at least updated their profile pages notifying of supplier delays.

I had similar problems - I for one won't be using this vendor again.

Worst vendor I've dealt with on SR, no communication and it takes weeks to get your order.

Quote from his vendor page "UK 1 - 2 Working Days" - what a load of bullshit.

ordered some leb hash from them 2 weeks ago never showed up, order from ukpharm before that never showed up, 5 weeks to try and buy a small amount of hash and both sellers fucked me over, sticking local for weed now.
